Campaign Case Study
GOOD DAMAGE
Brief
Build a streetwear campaign where being watched becomes a source of confidence, while keeping the product clear inside a surreal visual world.
My role
Creative direction from concept through final edit, including visual development, AI image and video direction, editing, and sonic direction.
Approach
Treat impossible architecture and oversized eyes with photographic realism, then use movement, texture, and sound to keep the shirts as the anchor.
Deliverables
9:16 campaign film · Static campaign stills · Sonic direction
GOOD DAMAGE explores streetwear as an act of visibility. Three characters move through an impossible architectural cube while enormous eyes observe from the surrounding walls. Instead of hiding from the attention, they move with confidence, sensuality, and control.
A world built to stare back.
The surrealism was designed to feel physically photographed rather than digitally weightless. Upside-down staircases, lemon branches, monumental eyes, and hand-carved helmets behave like real objects inside an editorial soundstage. The environment gets stranger, but the shirts remain the anchor.
Movement makes the product legible.
Lens whacking, shifting focus, light leaks, tracking movement, tilted perspectives, and tactile close-ups turn cotton, skin, wood, and print into part of the same visual language. The camera is active, but every product reveal is given enough clarity to land.
Sound belongs to the same world.
The sonic direction mirrors the images: confident, sensual, rhythmic, and slightly strange. Rather than sitting underneath the film, sound is treated as another layer of the campaign’s identity.
